Really!!??, I have not seen one benefit from any of the recent updates. All it seems to be doing is giving our Admin more work rolling back the ridiculous nerfs they institute. What is GC trying to do? They are reducing the systems, nerfing items that make no sense. Are they trying to ruin the game?

Agreed. HighGuard just finished neutralizing all the zoner nerfs including docking restrictions and a few hours later he can start all over again.
GC is busy deleting systems based on the constant and nasty whining of a few very active (at least on GC forums) pirates who continuously demand the deletion of systems (many created by hard work of others) to increase the chance for meeting would-be victims. I do not see how deleting dozens of systems makes this game more exciting - fewer areas to explore. The whiners should establish a Vanilla server for themselves. Or organize events, make systems more unique and more interesting etc.
The only positive step in this regard is the existence of a new system in a new sector in the works, LXP 48N, in the Cassiopeia sector - just type system ca01 in single player to visit - but now I doubt it will go anywhere with this attitude and those Marduks guarding the alien jumpgate will be there as silent mementos of a better long gone era.

I just got home at 630 pm est. I'll have to re-edit all the files I just edited today and start the server back up after I do the updates.

Just a message to let Admin know how much we appreciate the hard work clearing up the mess GC caused. I especially appreciate the speed at which you get the server back up when these updates occur. Kudos!!!
